Greetings and welcome to my
website.
My name is Alex Knox and I have
been a Registered Architect since
1996. I am licensed in Colorado
and Massachusetts and I carry
professional liability
insurance. I am a member of the
American Institute of
Architects.
With regard to my personal
history, I am originally from
Olney Illinois near Vincennes
Indiana where the Lewis and
Clark expedition began. Olney is
in Richland County and is a
farming community of 8,872
people. Notable artists from
Olney include, Mike Faris, Art
Tucker, Mary Ann Mays, Dale
Travous, Steve Muhs and Robert
Ridgeway.
I
found architectural inspiration
in Olney within the 19th and
20th century built environment I grew up in
mostly white, mostly Christian
and to my experience mostly
excepting. My early political
influences were Muhammad Ali’s
ethical opposition to the
Vietnam War and John Kennedy’s
support of racial equality in
America.
